one part was talking about jesus being rejected by the jews of nazareth(his hometown) when he returned back. the jews supposedly rejected him because they had the impression that Jesus(the saviour) was going to shower miracles upon miracles upon them and make them a blessed nation, but then they found out that Jesus was also caring and loving the gentiles(whom the jews hated), thats why the jews threw Jesus out of Nazareth.
then serene was talking about how the jews were jealous of the gentiles and thus rejected Jesus. It struck me really hard, cos that was what i was thinking about the previous few days. Like jealousy and stuff.
in the bible, theres a parable of the talents. when one servant was given 5 talents(in those days, money was counted as talents), another servant was given 3 and another was given just 1 talent. and its so true isnt it? some people are just so darn talented, like zijian while some people are so useless, like me. but at the end of the day, we're all serving the same God arent we? lol. (:
when you are able to finally grasp this concept, serving God becomes so much more joyful, becomes so much more smooth flowing aint it?
on hindsight, today was quite a typically boring day. lol anyway, look at the pics! my bro just fixed his com. looks good eh. the green pipes are water pipes, so its a water cooling system. cool rite! haha okay i dunno cos im an IT noob, but i think it looks good. lol
